LANCASHIRE ASSOCIATION TEAM MATCHES

These team matches supercede the Lanncsshire Scratch matches from 2018 onwards.


The NORTHERN CHAMPIONSHIP is run using 10 Players per team whereby selection is than made to obtain the 6 Players for the
L.A. TEAM TROPHY EVENT that follows.

East Lancs players need to register to be considered.

GENERAL RULES - (Amended 16/7/19)-Issue 2

A team of 10 Players will be selected from the lowest available handicaps.
The format is Stroke Play with girls having the SSS Variation added to H/Cap.
Boys off White Tees, Girls off Red Tees.

The best 2 Gross Players  and best 2 Nett players from this Northern Event will play in the L.A. TEAM TROPHY  event with the remaining 2 wild card Players being chosen by the organisers to make up the team of 6 players.

ELGA organisers have the right to amend selections to provide the best available team players to represent East Lancashire.

Players off handicaps of up to 15 can apply but the match will be played off a max of 12 H/Cap.
